Gary Lofstrom has worked in many segments of the financial services industry, including lending, bank card, investments, trust, retail banking, insurance, securities, and financial planning. He has developed and implemented innovative financial services marketing solutions that produced significant results for financial service clients.

Financial services marketing projects have ranged from direct marketing of bankcard products to investor relations support to institutional white papers. My past work experience with a regional bank, an investment company and an accounting firm gives me unique perspective on this business sector.

Commerce Bank

This smart, 5-color brochure bolstered the successful launch of the Commerce Purchasing Card. The copy communicates how the system and people behind the card provide added convenience, control and security for purchases made by company personnel, versus paper-based purchasing methods.

VSR Financial Services

VSR’s financial planner customer base needed to explain and market the organization’s increasingly popular investment “wrap” account. The simple tri-fold brochure contains a business card slit and can be mailed to prospects with a cover letter, or displayed in a brochure receptacle.

H&R Block

Needless to say, employee communications are a critical factor in organizational success. This employee newsletter served as one tool in that effort, providing business development information and conveying human resource information. I developed this newsletter and supported internal communications as a contract, on-site consultant.
